Session 1: Clinical toxicology 
  • Mycotoxicoses: the laboratory (amanitin in the urine), clinical and mycological point of view
  • The importance of a close collaboration among toxicologist, mycologist and clinical laboratory
  • specialist for the diagnosis of mycotoxicoses
  • Hepatic problems caused by Amanita mycotoxicoses
  • Potential pathologies caused by exotic fungal species
Session 2: Research highlights
  •  Amanita phalloides whole genome sequencing: the amanitin production explained
  •  Mycotherapy: evidence-based research
  •  Fungi and biological control of xenobiotics in terrestrial ecosystems
  •  Biotechnology: Fungi and bioremediation – theoretical and practical approaches
  •  Fungal species: taxonomy
                                                                         Day 2
Session 3:Fungi and nutrition 
  • Nutritional use of fungi: safety aspects related to marketing and consumption
  • Presence in edible fungi of pollutants, aflatoxins, nicotine and other
  • Storage of fungi: health-related problems caused by the presence of contaminants
Session 4: Regulatory aspects 
  • Keynotes by USMAF, SANCO, EFSA, NAS e ISS.
  • Round table: the preparation of reliable and exhaustive reports to allow in-depth evaluation of mycotoxicoses: standard operation procedures

Acceptance and presentation type (free communication or poster) will be decided upon evaluation by the Scientific Committee. Free presentations will be allowed a maximum of 10 minutes.
